This Sterling Silver Tiger Bead from Carlo Biagi (UPDATE: This bead is sold out and no longer available making it officially extinct!) is the perfect charm for bracelets themed around a sports team, spiritual energies or for animal lovers. The large diameter hole has no threading and it is compatible with many popular bracelets.
Over the years this European charm has been very popular due to its symbolism of this ferocious animal.
Tiger beads and symbolism
The tiger has always been an important symbol, and throughout history you see it’s influence in art, literature, or as a mascot.
Here are just a few interesting facts:
The tiger is the largest cat! For those of us who love cats, it is a dream to own such a huge kitty.
It is one of the animals in the Chinese Zodiac, the next year of the Tiger is 2022.
The Detroit Tigers football team was named after the nickname of the Detroit Light Guard Military Unit
There are 9 different sub species: three are extinct and the remaining six are endangered
This popular sterling silver bead is also on my bead “endangered list”. There are only a handful of these beads available and they will not be restocked. (UPDATE: This bead is sold out and no longer available making it officially extinct!)
If you are waiting for just the right time to buy this bead, then NOW would be the time. (When they are all gone, and officially extinct, I will update this page.)
To answer the most asked question – yes they will fit on PANDORA bracelets and are also compatible with Troll, Chamilia, and other trendy charm bead bracelets.
The bead hole is 5mm and is smooth (no threading) making them easy to slip on an off any bracelet chain.
This Murano glass bead is fashioned after the colors of the Bengal Tiger. Together these two beads are a great combo to represent this charismatic cat.

In trying to come up with inspiration for a new blog post early in the morning, all I could think of was Starbucks coffee, as in I need another cup!
When I first started drinking coffee I preferred Folgers. It had a nice flavor and didn’t seem to have that burned taste when it sat on the warmer like other coffee brands.
Then I graduated to Kona Coffee and an occasional flavored coffee like vanilla, hazelnut or cinnamon.
At some point I was introduced to Starbucks, and now I can’t seem to break away from the smoothness of this high quality arabica coffee. Believe me I have tried because it is very expensive… but no matter what coffee brand I try, I always go back to Starbucks.
You can also embrace your love of coffee by adding coffee cup beads to your European charm bracelet (yes, it will fit on P-NDORA bracelets, as well as Chamilia, Troll and others).
Do you love a good cup of coffee too? There are many ways to personalize your jewelry with a symbol of this delectable beverage.
FYI: As of 3/3/2017, this bead shown above is close to being out of stock and may not be available any longer. Get your coffee cup to go bead now, before they are all gone.
So enjoy your morning cup of Java and tell me which one is your favorite?
