Really looking forward to the return of “Better Call Saul” which is the AMC “Breaking Bad” spin-off .
The character Saul Goodman grew on me with every “Breaking Bad” episode, and this prequel is unraveling the life and times of Saul Goodman as Jimmy McGill.
Recently I also had the opportunity, through The Artisan Group®, to gift a piece of jewelry to the wardrobe stylist for consideration of use on the “Better Call Saul” series.
Not much jewelry was used in season 1 so it never surfaced, but there is still hope that my bracelet could be used in season 2.
I decided on this bracelet by thinking back to different types of jewelry that might be found in the time period that this show will take place.
I used an aquamarine colored Swarovski crystal as a sort of pre Breaking Bad Blue and combined it with black onyx to contrast that emergent color symbol.
Crossing my fingers that it will be used in season 2, but even more so I am really looking forward to seeing more of the story and character styles that are being revealed in this new series.
Will you be tuning in to watch “Better Call Saul”? Leave a comment and let me know your thoughts!

Do you send Thank You notes for gifts? Does anyone do that anymore? Just when I thought that tradition was dead, two handwritten thank you notes from celebrities were sent to The Artisan Group®, thanking us for the gifts we sent.
Thank You Note from Jennifer Love Hewitt
These lovely notes thanked everyone for the handmade gifts that we included in the Mother’s Day Gift Bag for 2014.
Each note card expressed gratitude for our personal gifts to them and by sitting down to write thank you notes it showed their sincere appreciation.
When I was growing up writing, sending a Thank You Note through the mail was very important. In the past 40 years that tradition has seemed to dwindle now that you can easily pick up a phone and call, text or email your thanks.
I was glad to see that this time-honored social etiquette is still alive and not entirely forgotten!! Do you send Thank You Notes?
Leave a comment about how you say Thank You for gifts.

Rose Quartz Bracelets for Celebrity Moms
I decided to participate in this collaborative gift bag to Hollywood Mothers so that I would have experience in a large production, working my way up to other events with The Artisan Group® that require more products.
TierraCast Silver Plated Pewter Love Mom Charm
I was inspired to make this bracelet by this little charm that I found and decided to combine that with Rose Quartz because of its loving and nurturing qualities.
Rose Quartz, also known as the Love Stone, is a crystal of unconditional love, It enhances loving qualities such as compassion, tenderness, comforting, nurturing, etc.
I made a “prototype” and sent a photograph off to the organizers for approval, once it was approved I did the math and then ordered all of the beading supplies I would need to complete these 30 bracelets.
Assembly of Rose Quartz Bracelets at 7-8 per day
Assembly Process
I used an assembly process similar to the one I use when making Rosaries, which worked really well and within a few days I was done! OK, well maybe it took a week.
The hardest thing to do was get a really good photo for the Gift Guide, I must have taken like 100 shots to get the color of the stones just right!
Happy Mother’s Day Note cards
I decided to create a little “Happy Mother’s Day” note card where I could write a little personal note to each Mom. On the other side I wrote a short description of the properties of Rose Quartz along with Care & Cleaning for the bracelet.
As I wrote out each card I looked up their names on IMDB and was surprised and tickled to know that a famous movie star might actually hold a piece of jewelry that I made. If I am lucky they might even contact me or look at other items I have available!
Packaging each gift with Bracelet, Note Card, Business Card and gift tag.
Boxing & shipping
I picked my ship date and made sure to assemble each individual gift package, along with the note cards, business card, etc by that date. T
hen “boom” it was done! Time to seal the box and off to FedEx for the journey across country to California!
There are times in life when you just need a little Romance. A romantic beaded jewelry necklace, a candlelight dinner for two or a crazy blind date with a handsome prince disguised as a newspaper reporter, like Clark Kent, right? If I were a bachelorette I would be thinking and dreaming of these things.
I had a great opportunity through The Artisan Group® to submit a piece of jewelry to the wardrobe stylist of the ABC “Bachelorette” TV show for consideration of use in future Bachelorette episodes.
This was not a show that I had ever seen, so I spent an afternoon watching different episodes that I found on You Tube. It was very entertaining, with a variety of beautiful jewelry and the use of many different styles.
Romantic Beaded Jewelry Necklace
This romantic beaded jewelry necklace was submitted for consideration, and made using a large and unique sterling silver bead that I acquired from India some years back.
I combined this unique bead with small Swarovski crystal bead accents to form a romantic teardrop pendant. I then attached it to a delicate sterling silver chain that was also adorned with crystal.
