Tiger bead charms for bracelets

This Sterling Silver Tiger Bead from Carlo Biagi (UPDATE: This bead is sold out and no longer available making it officially extinct!) is the perfect charm for bracelets themed around a sports team, spiritual energies or for animal lovers. The large diameter hole has no threading and it is compatible with many popular bracelets.

Over the years this European charm has been very popular due to its symbolism of this ferocious animal.

Tiger beads and symbolism

The tiger has always been an important symbol, and throughout history you see it’s influence in art, literature, or as a mascot.

Here are just a few interesting facts:

  • The tiger is the largest cat! For those of us who love cats, it is a dream to own such a huge kitty.
  • It is one of the animals in the Chinese Zodiac, the next year of the Tiger is 2022.
  • The Detroit Tigers football team was named after the nickname of the Detroit Light Guard Military Unit
  • There are 9 different sub species: three are extinct and the remaining six are endangered

This popular sterling silver bead is also on my bead “endangered list”. There are only a handful of these beads available and they will not be restocked. (UPDATE: This bead is sold out and no longer available making it officially extinct!)

If you are waiting for just the right time to buy this bead, then NOW would be the time. (When they are all gone, and officially extinct, I will update this page.)

To answer the most asked question – yes they will fit on PANDORA bracelets and are also compatible with Troll, Chamilia, and other trendy charm bead bracelets.

The bead hole is 5mm and is smooth (no threading) making them easy to slip on an off any bracelet chain.

This Murano glass bead is fashioned after the colors of the Bengal Tiger. Together these two beads are a great combo to represent this charismatic cat.

Easy to make black leather bracelets or necklace

Leather bracelets and necklaces are always in style and are a more casual type of jewelry to wear every day. It’s really easy to put together a new look for your arm or neck with the versatile Carlo Biagi black leather cord.

How to make black leather bracelets or necklaces

  1. Pick out your favorite beads or charms
  2. Slide them onto the leather cord
  3. Tie knots at different points on the bracelet or necklace to hold the beads
  4. Measure for your neck or wrist and then tie another knot!
  5. Easy Peasy

Use any type of leather cord, approximately 40″ long so you can wrap or tie in any way you choose.

Packaging photos – are they important?

Showing photos of product packaging when selling online is important if you have room to display the photos. Some people don’t really care how the items come to them, but many people are swayed by attractive packaging.

Show photos of your product packaging to improve online sales

Many of you have read different articles about creative packaging and if you sell on Etsy you have probably read articles in the sellers handbook about branding, packaging and so on. I have read them all too!

I even took a photo several years back while I was in the middle of shipping packages so that I would have a picture. However, it was pretty lame. See below…

Old Packaging

Looking back now I see how lame that photo was, but at the time I took the photo above, I was thinking

“This is great, it shows how the product is mailed, and what the bead or item purchased would look like when it arrives!”

However this was only a small representation of how items are packaged and mailed from Bead Lovers Korner. Then I set out to improve the photos.

Take time to shoot new photographs

I took some new photos to show the different ways that beads and small items are sent to customers. Most of my products ares small and are sent in organza bags like in the example above.

Gift box
Rosaries and delicate items come in a gift box

I use gift boxes for Rosaries most of the time, and some jewelry items also come in a gift box. This helps to protect the item in shipping and is also convenient for customers who are giving the item as a gift.

In this new era where everyone has a smart phone, it is really easy to take photos that are worthy of posting in a listing.

That extra photo in your Etsy listing just might seal the deal and convince a customer to buy from you!

Think about how you like to receive products that arrive through the mail? Is product packing important to you? Thanks for stopping by and please leave a comment with your ideas for product packaging.
